Salzburg was my first "Must See" destination, but I was waiting for the perfect weather to go there. It was worth to wait. The sky was deep blue, sun was shining, trees were starting to bud and flowers to blossom and it was really warm, almost like summer. I was totally in love in this city! I bought the Bayern-ticket from Munich railway station which cost me 23 eur and I could use it all day long in Bavaria county and Salzburg was included. I went by train about 2h. When I arrived to Salzburg, I also bought a Salzburg Card, which cost 23 eur again and I got a free entrance to many many places. I used it in Mozart's birthplace (10eur), Hohensalzburg Fortress-cable railway (11.30 eur one way-I used it three times), Catacombs (2eur) and Cable-car Untersberg (22eur). Unfortunately all the museums closed at 17.00, so I had no time to visit most of them, because I went to Untersberg mountain to see Salzburg from above. It was the highest mountain I have ever been to :) And to be honest, I wasn't very interested to be inside the museums, when it was such a perfect weather outside!

After the Castle, I took a bus and went (about 30 min) near to the Untersberg mountain. Then I went up to the top by cable-car (10 min). Because it was so warm, I was wearing summer shoes, but it was a free ride to up and down with my Salzburg card and I already drove 30 min by bus, so I had to go up, even though people were staring at me and some guys even asked about my shoes :D I said Yeah, I know I picked the wrong shoes today, and we all laughed :D
Ups...wrong shoes :D
You can see Salzburg down there
